The following terms and conditions apply if you undertake Uniti’s Referral Promotion:

Terms and Conditions of Uniti’s Refer Friends Promotion – By participating in Uniti’s Referral Promotion:

  1. you agree to be bound by Uniti’s usual Terms and Conditions of Use and
  2. you also agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Uniti’s Referral Promotion:

 Who can apply for Uniti’s Referral Promotion? – Uniti’s Referral Promotion is open to be accepted:

  1. if you are aged 16 years or over and have a current Australian residential address; and
  2. if you are an existing customer of Uniti, or if you are a new customer of Uniti; and
  3. if you refer a new customer to Uniti; and
  4. if that new customer signs up for a new residential or business internet service; and
  5. who selects the Uniti’s Referral Promotion option and enters the Unique Referral Code allocated to each customer.

What internet services are available on Uniti’s Referral Promotion? – Uniti’s Referral Promotion applies to Uniti’s plans for residential and business internet services, but only 12 and 24 month plans. Uniti’s Referral Promotion does not apply to Uniti’s other residential or business plans, or to Uniti’s premiums services.

 How long does the Referral Promotion last? – Uniti’s Referral Promotion is open to be accepted until Uniti publishes notice on the Uniti website at unitiwireless.com that Uniti’s Referral Promotion is closed.

What is on offer with Uniti’s Referral Promotion? – Under Uniti’s Referral Promotion:

  1. Uniti will apply a credit of 50 CommUniti Dollars; to
  2. the account of each eligible customer; who
  3. refers a new customer to Uniti; and
  4. that new customer signs up for an internet service and becomes a new customer of Uniti; and
  5. when that new customer signs up they enter the existing customer’s Unique Referral Code.

What does “CommUniti Dollars” mean? – “Communiti Dollars” is a nominal description of a promotional tool. “CommUniti Dollars” are not currency. “CommUniti Dollars” are a bonus awarded to a customer’s account, which can be used by the customer as a discount toward purchases made of Uniti internet services or ancillary hardware “CommUniti Dollars”.

What does “CommUniti Dollars” not mean? – “Communiti Dollars” are not cash. “CommUniti Dollars” cannot be redeemed for cash. “CommUniti Dollars”.

What does “the new customer becomes a new customer of Uniti” mean? – the new customer will have signed up for a new contract for a new internet service, and CommUniti Dollars will accrue to an existing customer’s account, (not as money, but as a discount for use on future purchases of internet services or ancillary hardware), only once:

  1. the new customer has signed up on-line via Uniti’s website at unitiwireless.com for a new internet service; and
  2. the new customer has, at the time of signing up for their new service, entered the existing customer’s Unique Referral Code; and
  3. the work of Uniti’s Installers, installing the equipment necessary to provide an internet service to the new customer, is complete, and the work of Uniti’s Network Engineers, connecting the new customer’s internet service to Uniti’s wireless broadband internet network, is complete, and the new customer’s new internet service is connected successfully.

What does a “Unique Referral Code” mean? – a customer’s “Unique Referral Code” is provided on each customer’s “Your Details” section at Uniti’s website at unitiwireless.com.

What is the life of a CommUniti Dollar? – “CommUniti Dollars” will be awarded to a customer’s account, only where the customer refers a new customer to Uniti, and that new customer signs up for a new contract for a new internet service, and that new customer becomes a new customer of Uniti, “CommUniti Dollars” can accrue to a customer’s account from multiple successful referrals, so that a single balance of CommUniti Dollars, which is composed of multiple awards, can be used in one single transaction. CommUniti Dollars will expire if the account of the customer, to which the CommUniti Dollars are allocated, is terminated or cancelled by either the customer or Uniti – eg by the customer if the customer leaves the internet, or by Uniti in the event of a customer not paying their invoices.

How does it… um, how does it work? – eg Randy, an existing customer of Uniti, is popular, has many friends, and is considered knowledgeable in the ways of IT by those friends, Randy refers all of his friends to Uniti, 11 friends sign up as new customers, 10 use Randy’s Unique Referral Code, 1 does not use Randy’s Unique Referral Code, Randy will accrue 10 x 50 CommUniti Dollars, for the 10 friends who used Randy’s Unique Referral Code, but won’t receive any CommUniti Dollars for the friend who signed up without using Randy’s Unique Referral Code.

Can CommUniti Dollars be shared or transferred between people, or accumulated by a lot of people? – no, customers may not share CommUniti Dollars or transfer CommUniti Dollars between people, between accounts, or accumulate them between a group of customers. CommUniti Dollars can be accumulated only by individual customers, where multiple new customers have used the existing customer’s Unique Referral Code, and successfully completed an application for a new service.

Using CommUniti Dollars – Once a customer has accrued CommUniti Dollars to their account, the customer may use those CommUniti Dollars, as a discount off the listed price of any Uniti internet services, upgrades to Uniti internet services, speed bossts and any ancillary hardware.

Terms may change – Uniti Wireless may change these Terms of Uniti’s Referral Promotion at any time. Changes to the Terms of Uniti’s Referral Promotion will be announced and current versions of Uniti’s Terms and Conditions of Use will be available at any time on Uniti’s web page.

As many as you like people – a customer may use Uniti’s Referral Promotion as many times as they like, and for each referral CommUniti Dollars will accumulate to that customer’s account.

Regions – Uniti’s Referral Promotion is available to customers in all regions.

Uniti will not be liable to you or to any customer for the termination of the CommUniti Dollar promotion, for any reason whatsoever, including (without limitation) for any CommUniti Dollars in your account at the time of termination.

Any liability that Uniti may have to any customer in negligence, breach of contract or otherwise, and all conditions and warranties as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness or safety of any goods or services supplied by Uniti whether express or implied by statute, are excluded to the extent permitted by law, and, where liability cannot be excluded, Uniti’s liability to any customer will in all cases be limited to:

  1. the cost of re-supplying the goods or services or repairing, or paying the costs of repairing, the goods;
  2. reinstating the number of CommUniit Dollars in dispute; or
  3. where the dispute relates to an internet service or ancillary hardware, the number of CommUniti Dollars required to redeem the reward.

Any tax, liability, or duty incurred by a customer arising from that customer’s participation in the CommUniti Dollars Promotion is the responsibility of the customer.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits a customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The following terms and conditions apply if you undertake Uniti’s Quarterly Billing Discount Plan:

Terms and Conditions of the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan – By participating in Uniti’s Quarterly Billing Discount Plan you agree to be bound by our usual Terms and Conditions of Use here and also by the following Terms and Conditions of the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan.

Who can apply for the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan? – The Quarterly Billing Discount Plan is open to be accepted by any new customer to Uniti on a one-off basis, and to any existing customer of Uniti who signs up for an additional site or for an extension to an existing service also on a one-off basis, who selects the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan option when signing up to a new residential or business internet service.

What Internet services are available on the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan? – The Quarterly Billing Discount Plan applies to Uniti’s plans for residential and business internet services but does not apply to Uniti’s premiums services.

How long does the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan offer last? Uniti’s Quarterly Billing Discount Plan offer can be accepted at any time up until close of business on 28 July 2017. The Quarterly Billing Period starts on the 1st of August 2017. Three months service minus 10% will be charged to your account on the 1st of August 2017 and after the three months, your account will be charged according to your regular billing cycle. That is, your billing cycle prior to when the quarterly billing commenced.

What benefits come with the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan? –

  1. For residential customers – Uniti will charge the usual fee for providing Internet services applicable to the service selected by the customer – but this fee will be discounted by 10%. The fee for that service will be discounted by 10% so long as the customer wishes to continue to receive those services. Uniti will also provide unlimited data to that customer for the first month of the service. At the end of the first month the data limit applicable to that plan will re-apply.
  2. For business customers – Uniti will charge the usual fee for providing internet services applicable to the service selected by the customer – but this fee will be discounted by 10%. The fee for that service will be discounted by 10% so long as the customer wishes to continue to receive those services. Uniti will also provide unlimited data to that customer for the first three months of the service. At the end of the first three months the data limit applicable to that plan will re-apply.

Invoicing – Once Uniti has successfully installed the necessary equipment at the customer’s premises and has commenced providing Internet services, Uniti will raise an invoice for the customer’s service. Each invoice will be for a quarterly (three months) period in advance. The Quarterly Billing Discount Plan applies to this arrangement for quarterly billing in advance.

Security for equipment – All customers signing up for the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan will be required to submit payment card details as part of the process.

How do you tell us that you won’t continue with the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan? – Customers not wishing to continue with Uniti’s Quarterly Billing Discount Plan must cancel the internet services by sending an email to support@unitiwireless.com at least 7 working days before the end of any quarterly billing cycle. If you do not tell us that you won’t continue with Uniti’s Internet services then we will continue to provide internet services and you will be charged for the Internet services provided, until the start of the next billing cycle.

Services may change or end – Uniti may make modifications to the Internet services it provides during the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan period. Uniti may terminate the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan offer at any time without reason by giving 24 hours written notice to you. In the event that Uniti terminates the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan you will not be charged any additional fees, unless you elect to continue to receive Uniti’s internet services, in which case you will be charged for installation and for internet services provided or unless you did not provide enough notice as per clauses above.

Terms may change – Uniti Wireless may change these Terms of the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan at any time. Changes to the Terms of the Quarterly Billing Discount Plan will be announced and current versions of Uniti’s Terms and Conditions of Use will be available at any time on Uniti’s web page.

One at a time people – a Customer may use this Quarterly Billing Discount Plan offer only once and Uniti will provide only one Quarterly Billing Discount Plan to any single residence or business.

How long is Uniti’s Spring Promotion offer open – Uniti’s Spring Promotion offer is open until close of business 30 September 2017.

Payment – All customers signing up for Uniti’s Spring Promotion offer will be required to submit credit card details as part of the process. Once the purchase of the service, together with applicable discount, is finalised, your credit card will be billed for the amount of the purchase.

Services may change or end – Uniti may make modifications to the internet services it provides during Uniti’s Spring Promotion offer. Uniti may terminate the Spring Promotion offer at any time without reason.

How long does the Free Trial last: Uniti’s Adelaide Film Festival Promotion – 30 Day Free Trial offer lasts for 30 days. The 30 Day Free Trial period starts from the day you activate the 30 Day Free Trial. After the 30 Day Free Trial, Uniti’s regular price for installation of the equipment, and for providing internet services will be charged, effective from the day after the end of the 30 Day Free Trial.

How long is Uniti’s Adelaide Film Festival Promotion – 30 Day Free Trial offer open – Uniti’s Adelaide Film Festival Promotion – 30 Day Free Trial offer is open to be accepted until close of business 31 October 2017.

Security for equipment – All customers signing up for the Adelaide Film Festival Promotion – 30 Day Free Trial offer will be required to submit payment card details as part of the process, to allow automatic payments to be made once the free trial period finishes. If you do not continue with Uniti’s internet services at the end of the 30 Day Free Trial your credit card will not be billed.

How do you tell us that you won’t continue with Uniti’s internet services– Customers not wishing to continue with Uniti’s internet services https://unitiwireless.com/residential-plans/ once the Adelaide Film Festival Promotion – 30 Day Free Trial offer ends must cancel the internet services by sending an email to support@unitiwireless.com at least 3 working days before the 30 Day Free Trial ends. We will send you an email to remind you to do this 7 days before your first payment is due. If you do not tell us that you won’t continue with Uniti’s internet services then we will continue to provide internet services and you will be charged for the installation and for internet services provided after the end of the 30 Day Free Trial.

What happens when the Free Trial ends if you do not continue receiving Uniti’s services:At the end of the 30 Day Free Trial period, if you do not undertake to continue to receive Uniti’s internet services on one of Uniti’s service plans  https://unitiwireless.com/residential-plans/, then Uniti will remove the equipment installed at your premises – we will remove the antenna, cabling, but will leave in place the wall-plate connection point within the premises – the internet services provided during the Adelaide Film Festival Promotion – 30 Day Free Trial offer will cease, you will no longer have access to any internet services, and you should consider that any data you may have entered and any organization of such data you made using the internet services may be lost.

Terms and Conditions of Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion – by participating in Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion you agree to be bound by Uniti’s general Terms and Conditions and the following Terms and Conditions of Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion.

Who can apply for Uniti’s Show Us Your Speed Test competition? Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion is open to be accepted by any, existing or new, residential or business customer, of Uniti, but does not apply to Uniti’s premium services. It is also only open to South Australian residents.

How long is Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion open? – Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion is open from 7am Wednesday 4th October 2017 until close of business 20 October 2017.

What information is required to enter? – To enter Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion customers must provide their name, street address, contact details, including telephone number (for contact during business hours in the event that the customer is the winner of the Promotion) and email address, and a screenshot of the results of a speed test conducted on the customer’s residential or business service.

Disclosure of Information for Uniti’s marketing campaigns – All customers who enter Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion consent, whether or not the customer is a winner of the Show us your Speed Promotion:

  1. To Uniti using, at Uniti’s absolute discretion, the customers Christian (first) name (but not surname/last name) and the Suburb (but not street number or name) in which the customer’s residence or business is located, and at which the customer’s speed test was taken, in Uniti’s marketing and promotional material, including print media, television or radio media or online media; and
  2. To Uniti providing the customer’s details, in particular email address, to Brand South Australia, and to Brand South Australia including the customer’s email address being included in mailing lists for promotions and marketing.

What is up for grabs – There will be one winner of Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion. The winning customer will receive:

  1. For residential customers, one year of free Uniti broadband internet residential services; or
  2. For business customers, one year of free Uniti broadband internet business services.

Uniti will determine in its absolute discretion when the period of free services will commence. That period will end on the first anniversary of the date on which the services commence. But it is likely that the period of free services will commence on a date, which is both convenient for Uniti and aligns with any pre-existing billing schedule for that customer.

Terms may change – Uniti Wireless may change these Terms of Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion at any time. Changes will be announced and current versions of Uniti’s Terms and Conditions of Use will be available at any time on Uniti’s web page.

One at a time people – a Customer may enter Uniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion only once.

 RegionsUniti’s Show us your Speed Promotion may not be available to customers in all regions due to a lack of service coverage.

On entering this competition, entrants license the Promoter (Uniti Wireless) to use the Entry Content across its channels in any manner the Promoter wishes (including modifying, adapting, copying, publishing, broadcasting or communicating the entry, whether in original or modified form, in whole or in part or not at all), by way of all media, in perpetuity, without payment to the entrant (of royalties, compensation or otherwise). Entries become the property of the Promoter. Once submitted, no changes to or withdrawal of an entry will be permitted. Entries will not be returned by the Promoter.

By entering this Promotion, the entrant: (a) consents to any dealings with their Entry Content that may otherwise infringe their moral rights in an entry; (b) agrees not to assert any moral rights (wherever and whenever such rights are recognised) in respect of their entry or publicity materials containing any part of their entry, against the Promoter, its assigns, licensees and successors in title; and (c) undertakes to the Promoter that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.

Any costs associated with accessing the promotional sites or channels remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependant on the Internet service provider. Any details entered incorrectly shall be deemed invalid and result in an ineligible entry. Uniti is also not responsible for any costs associated with changing internet providers.

How long does the Thirty Day Period last – Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion is open to be accepted until close of business on 31 October 2017.

What is on offer with Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion – Under Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion, Uniti will install and activate any business or residential customer onto a 12 or 24 month contract, and if the internet services provided to that customer on that service, does not, for the first Thirty Days, perform as advertised, then Uniti will not charge the customer for:

  1. Installation of the internet service and equipment; or
  2. The internet services delivered on that contract for service; or
  3. The termination of the internet service.

What does “Thirty Days” mean? – The period of Thirty Days means thirty (30) calendar days, commencing at the beginning of the day on which the customer completes their on-line sign up and contract, (day 1), and ends at close of business on the day which is thirty consecutive calendar days (day 30) after the day 1 – e.g. if the customer signs up on line on 1 May, then 1 May is day 1, and the period of Thirty Days closes at close of business on May 30.

What does “as advertised” mean? – “as advertised” means the description placed by Uniti on Uniti’s website which describes the performance to be expected from Uniti’s internet services, by reference to objective and measurable criteria including: speed, volume, data limit and consistency of signal.

What does “does not perform as advertised” mean? – “does not perform as advertised” means that an internet service provided to a customer, which commenced under this Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion, has significant, consistent and sustained performance issues, and which Uniti are unable to rectify within a reasonable period of time (but not exceeding three business days) after the issue has been brought to the attention of Uniti’s Customer Service Department – e.g. dramatic and continual fluctuations in connection, resulting in failure of connection, but not minor fluctuations in signal.

What does “does not perform as advertised” not mean? – “does not perform as advertised” does not mean that:

  1. the internet service provided to a customer, which commenced under this Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion, fails to meet levels of performance, by reference to objective and measurable criteria including: speed, volume, data limit and consistency of signal, but such failure is in only minor, occasional and/or peripheral to service delivery, or
  2. the internet service provided to a customer, which commenced under this Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion, fails to meet levels of performance, by reference to objective and measurable criteria including: speed, volume, data limit and consistency of signal, which is remedied by Uniti within a reasonable period of time (but not exceeding three business days) after the issue has been brought to the attention of Uniti’s Customer Service Department.

What happens if the internet service does not perform as advertised within the Thirty Days? – In the event that:

  1. a customer has signed up for a residential or business internet service on a 12 and 24 month plan; and
  2. the internet service does not perform as advertised; then
  3. the cost of activation of that internet service will be free and the customer will not be charged an activation fee; and
  4. the service cost of the internet service will be free and the customer will not be charged for the internet service.

Who’s responsibility is it to demonstrate that the internet service does not perform as advertised? – the customer, and not Uniti, is responsible for demonstrating, to Uniti’s not unreasonable satisfaction, that an internet service which commenced under this Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion does not perform as advertised.

What if a performance issue is caused by the customer or by circumstances beyond Uniti’s control? – In the event that Uniti’s internet service does not perform as advertised, due to a circumstance caused by the customer or by events beyond Uniti’s reasonable control, then Uniti may either:

  1. If the service cannot be made to perform as advertised – Cancel and terminate the service, and recover from the customer the costs of installation and the costs of to deliver the internet service to that customer; or
  2. If the service can be made to perform as advertised – continue to provide the service, and recover from the customer the costs of installation and the costs of to deliver the internet service to that customer.

Security for equipment – All customers signing up for Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion will be required to submit payment card details as part of the process, to allow automatic payments to be made. If, within the first Thirty Days, the internet services do not perform as advertised, then you will not be charged an activation fee. If, within the first Thirty Days, the internet services do perform as advertised, then you will be charged an activation fee and the first months service charge and you will be charged the usual rates and fees for Uniti’s internet services applicable to the residential or business internet service plan you’ve signed up for.

Terms may change – Uniti Wireless may change these Terms of Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion at any time. Changes to the Terms of Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion will be announced and current versions of Uniti’s Terms and Conditions of Use will be available at any time on Uniti’s web page.

One at a time people – a Customer may use this Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion only once and Uniti will provide only one Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion to any single residence or business.

 Regions – Uniti’s Thirty Day Performance Guarantee Promotion may not be available to customers in all regions.
