Uniti Wireless awarded $5 million as part of SA government’s Future Jobs Fund
Uniti’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Ali Foster says, “South Australia has an amazing entrepreneurial spirit and is leading the way in terms of technology and innovation. We are pleased the Government is backing us financially and can see the importance of providing an alternative to the NBN to solve a key problem that is holding back Australia’s productivity and growth: universal access to reliable and super fast broadband.”
Ms Foster continues: “We are proud to be an Adelaide-based company, soon to be doing business on a national scale. We have more than 65 people currently working for us and are committed to building a strong local workforce. Our aim is to create more than 200 new jobs and pump millions into the state economy over the next few years.”
With thousands of customers connected to Uniti’s Super-Fast fixed wireless broadband across Melbourne and Adelaide, Uniti plans to expand its network into metropolitan Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane before the end of the year.
