Stronger Consumer Protections For NBN Users

Research has shown that about 14 per cent of households reported being left without an internet service for more than a week when moving to the NBN. That’s why the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has introduced new rules to protect customers moving to the NBN.

“These rules will ensure..if there is a problem with their new NBN service, consumers will be able to move back to their old service while the problem is fixed. They may also agree to an alternative service if they prefer” said ACMA Chair, Nerida O’Loughlin.

What other changes should be made to the NBN?
